I refer to the comment recently made by a retired General, who has made it his life's pursuit, to make ludicrous, and absurd remarks. To do this, he owns his own newspaper, and can say as many incredulous things he wishes. Trouble is, most people don't realize that this is his version of a "bully-pulpit".

To have made the connection between God, the hurricane, and "sin cities", you have to make quite a stretch. His comment that the "Gulf Coast area is not one of the the Lord's favorites" because of the evil spiritual connection, heavy gambling area, and homosexuality" makes me wonder how he feels about San Francisco, Las Vegas, New york City, and any religion other than the correct religion (his). Hurricanes have been forming in the Atlantic Ocean, and off the coast of Africa for centuries. I suppose, using his logic, that they are formed off of Africa to punish the United States for slavery.

Apparently, the good General has had an epiphany, of sorts. This is the same retired career military man that made millions of dollars, for his benefit, through connections made during the term of his military career.

To verify this, you simply have to do a quick Google on MPRI, Inc. He was an arms dealer, directly tied to supplying arms to third world nations. I wonder what his Lord thinks of his way of skewing the "correct views".
