Richard Anderson, legal counsel for MDDC and Cargill, said the catered lunch was a way of showing appreciation to those who have been working hard to advance the project.

"This is a way to express our thanks to the work release inmates, contractors and everyone involved in the project," Anderson said. He said the project has made big strides toward completion in recent weeks.
