On Monday, I posted a story with a cartoon that I thought depicted the situation. Today I pulled the cartoon and story.

This morning Sam called and reminded me that friends do not embarrass friends. I agree. My intent was not to embarrass anyone but if my actions were embarrassing to Sam, I offer an apology.

My position has not changed on the industrial park. But as Sam also said “Friends can disagree”. In the future I will address this issue strictly on its technical merits and leave personalities out of the mix.

This fight over the industrial park will come and go but most likely Sam and I will still be here. I hope someday we find ourselves on the same side of an issue and we can work together.
