Marshall's teen rock band, THE KNOWMADS, will perform a free concert to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina on Saturday night at 6 p.m. in the parking lot behind Under the Texas Sun in downtown Marshall.

Everyone is admitted free, especially the hurricane refugees, but local fans are asked to make $5 donations, or more, if possible! All proceeds will go to the Red Cross.

Under the Texas Sun will serve free dinners to the refugees, starting at 6 p.m. The Knowmads, featuring Barney Canson, Matthew McCathran, Zach McCathran and Alwyn Robinson, are honor students at Marshall High School.

"We wanted to do something for the people who lost everything in the hurricane," said Barney, "We have friends here from New Orleans who are enrolling at Marshall High. It should be a fun night and maybe we can raise some money too."

Everyone is invited to come downtown and join the party and help our new neighbors in need.
