Whispering Pines Lodge is a charming two-story brick guest house on the waters edge of Texas' only “natural” lake. Inside, off the long porch, are three very spacious guest rooms, one with a wood-burning fireplace, each with a private bath, a ceiling fan and television. The downstairs great room invites you to relax in front of one of its two fireplaces, play your favorite parlor game or just get lost in your current read. Guests are welcome to brew fresh coffee in the adjacent large kitchen. Excellent restaurants and cafes are within walking distance.

Daytime adventures include boat tours, fishing, antiquing, shopping, hiking and gaming. The Lodge is 20 miles from Marshall, 18 miles from historic Jefferson, 4 miles from Caddo Lake State Park and 50 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana.
