Big Red Pride working hard
By BENJAMIN FORT, News Messenger
The Big Red Pride marching band of Marshall High School is again enduring the summer sun in preparation for the first game of the Maverick football season.
However, football games are only one commitment of this band.
The Pride already performed once at freshmen orientation, and another performance is slated for Aug. 9, at the general session, which will feature the drumline and percussion ensembles.
"Right now we're in the process of teaching them the music," said Anthony Robinson, Marshall High School band director.
