A native of Hot Springs, Ar., Carol lives in Texas where she is a resident artist at the Marshall Visual Art Center. Carol and her husband of forty years have three wonderful children and three beautiful grandchildren. Carol works in watercolors, acrylics, and house paint and often tries other mediums to keep her work fresh. Some of the mediums she studies are etchings, colligraphs, color reduction prints, starch painting, and metal sculpture. Carol also takes commissions for dog portraits. The customer furnishes several good photos and she turns them into wonderful watercolors featuring their favorite pal.

Carol‘s style is fresh and colorful with a strong background in drawing. It is contemporary and loose to give the viewer a chance to add his or her own interpretation.
