Work on the former Hotel Marshall structure is going so well that the Downtown Development Corp. could hold an August grand opening for The Marshall, according to project spokesman Richard Anderson.

Anderson, a local attorney, said the hotel's original roof tiles have been removed and new tiles are scheduled to arrive from Spain the second week of July. Upon completion, the building will be renamed The Marshall.

The building has also been power washed and windows have been installed on the first three floors. Work on the central air and heating system is finished and large duct work has been completed.
