Billy Bob is not the only one that has been collecting data. Let me quickly ask that we have been collecting different types of data.

I have been collecting data on traffic and traffic delays. My data collection was done in the North Bay – Marin and Sonoma Counties – not the East Bay, South Bay, or San Francisco (where traffic is really bad). After three days of collecting this data I have calculated that I have spent an average of 112 minutes per day sitting in my car or moving at less than 10 miles per hour.

That translates to almost two hours of lost time. That is time away from my $650,000 two bedroom, one bath home.

So the next time I get caught in a 5-car traffic jam at Grand and 59, I’m not going to get upset.
