"And at midnight, Karen jumped me and gave me a kiss," Partee said.

"Jump is a strong word. I gave him a hug and he went in for the kill," Karen retorted.

"She's making that up. She totally kissed me," Partee said, obviously pleased with his version of the event.

"Well, Bryan," Karen said, "this makes us look totally cheap."

"She's a floozy and I like her that way," Bryan announced, satisfied with having the last word.
