Companies seek 10 more acres in Marshall Business Park from MEDCO

Sister companies MECAR USA and Titan Dynamics want to construct another building and are asking Marshall Economic Development Corp. to give them 10 more acres in the Marshall Business Park MEDCO officials disclosed at Tuesday's meeting.
Currently, the companies are leasing for $10 a year 100 acres in the business park. But the law mandates that each building have a blast zone around it to protect other buildings in case of an accident. Therefore, in order to build, the companies must acquire more land.
