The New Town Neighborhood Association Beautification Committee will recognize a residence or business in New Town with the New Town Community Pride Award. The purpose of the award is to say "Thank You" to persons who take pride in the appearance of their property by keeping it well kept and attractive. One property every month will be selected by the committee to receive the award.

To be eligible for the award, the property should be within the boundaries of the New Town neighborhood, which is on the west side of Marshall bounded by West Houston, West End Boulevard, Southwest Road, West Meredith, West Emory, and South Grove Streets. The property should exhibit good exterior condition and be aesthetically attractive and landscaping should be well maintained.
