Orientation will begin at 9 a.m. and will include advisement and registration for summer classes. According to Lisa Harper, associate dean of learner support services, "Orientation is designed to be the first step in student retention. We believe our orientation programs will acquaint students with the college and its degree offerings thus starting students on the right track toward degree completion. Orientation is mandatory for all new degree seeking students enrolling at the college."
