Marshall: City may seek litter alternative

The Harrison County Sheriff's Office is not providing reports to the city concerning when and where its prisoners are picking up litter, and the city may contract with another agency for the service, city commissioners said at Thursday's meeting.
The sheriff's office is paid $46,000 dollars per eyar for the service, in quarterly payments, and has provided the service for about two years, commissioners said.
