LAND VACANCY REFORM BILL PASSES TEXAS HOUSE
SB 1103 SENT TO THE GOVERNOR'S DESK FOR SIGNATURE
STATE CAPITOL--A bill to reform the land vacancy statute sponsored by Sen. Kevin Eltife (R-Tyler) and Rep. Bryan Hughes (R-Mineola) today passed the Texas House of Representatives and was sent to the Governor's desk for his signature. The bill, SB 1103, had previously passed the Texas Senate and reforms the process for handling vacancy claims in Texas and protects land and mineral owner rights.
