The event, which organizers plan to make an annual one, was in the Hallsville High School cafeteria and was in conjunction with the Hallsville Chamber of Commerce's 40th Annual Meeting.

"The thing that's interesting to me is Hallsville is growing faster economically than ever and that's amazing – we got a McDonald's, we got a Brookshire's," said chamber president, Mike Stanfield, as he listed some of the newest additions to the small town.
