Black-eyed Pea Festival runs today and Sunday

Marshall's Fourth Annual Black-eyed Pea Festival will be today and Sunday, May 7 and 8. Mary Jones, festival organizer, said the event is a fund-raiser of the Harrison County Community Affairs Action Group and a way to bring the community together.
More than 20 vendors will offer foods, including black-eyed peas, barbecue, fried catfish, hamburgers, turkey legs, baked goods, sodas, snowcones and nachos. Several businesses will also have booths.
