Early voting for Saturday's city of Marshall and Marshall Independent School District elections picked up Tuesday the final day of early voting but turnout in both was extremely low, according to Pam Brock.
"Overall the turnout has been very low," Ms. Brock said. "I'm still hoping there will be lots of people come out and vote on election day, Saturday."
Voting Saturday for both the school board and city race will be held at Marshall High School with polls open 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., she said.
For the District 2 city election between Williams and Allin, 482 voters participated in the early voting process out of 3,932 eligible voters. Ms. Brock said 202 of those ballots were mailed in while 280 people voted in person.
