LEDCO/ Industry Scholarships Deadline is May 13

According to Susan Mazarakes, LEDCOs business retention and expansion director, Bemis Longview, Logan & Whaley, Borg Warner, Crosby Lebus Manufacturing, Dana Corp., LeTourneau Inc., Trinity Rail, Vertex RSI, Alcatel, Merritt Tool, Southwest Steel Casting, Stemco LLC and LEDCO have already committed a total of $28,750 to provide 10 scholarships for May 2005 high school graduates to Texas State Technical College Marshall beginning in the fall semester. The scholarship program was established by LEDCOs CEO and HR groups, which consist of 80 plant managers ... Gary Hendricks, President at TSTC Marshall said internships might be offered as part of the program, and the program will provide other assistance to students. Along with the financial help, there will be a mentoring program supported by the companies. Interested students should contact Susan Wingate, Scholarship Committee Chairman at TSTC Marshall.
