Opinion: Why isn't the print media covering the District 2 City Commission race?

Am I missing something or is Marshalls print media? We have a daily news paper and two weekly pubs I dont think any of them recognize that there is a City Commission race underway or they think if they stay quiet it will go away. There has been almost no press coverage of the District 2 City Commission race between Tom Allin and Alonza Williams.
This is a new phenomenon. In the past two City Commission elections there was almost daily coverage of the elections. This time there has been almost monthly coverage. A recent article in the News Messenger discussed the School Board election but failed to mention the City Commission race. The School Board election is important but the City Commission race is also important.
