Texas State Technical College Celebrates 40th Birthday

Texas State Technical College celebrated on Friday night. World champion barrel racer Martha Josey was be the keynote speaker. In keeping with the theme of serving Texas with technical education, a Texas style cuisine of barbeque and all the fixings was served. Josey was joined by Grady Lee, local singer and song writer who entertained those in attendance. A trick roper and Lees chuck wagon added to the serving Texas theme. The anniversary event was also mark the 100th anniversary of Rotary International. The Downtown Marshall Rotary Club lent its support to TSTC Marshall with its members selling tickets and promoting the celebration.
