CINCO de MAYO on SATURDAY, APRIL 30, 2005
Its a fiesta of music, food and fun for Cinco de Mayo, in downtown Marshall on the west side of the square, Saturday, April 30. Children in colorful costumes, tiny cars and on floats will begin the celebration at 2:00 p.m., parading around the historic Harrison County courthouse square.
Immediately after the parade there will be piñatas for three different age groups and a karate demonstration at 2:30 p.m. Live music, a custom car exhibit, arts, crafts, gifts, Mexican food, face painting, dancers and a Moon Walk will provide family fun throughout the afternoon. For the adults, at 6 p.m. the Los Chabos Clan Band will be singing and playing until 10:30.
