There was a huge clean up, fix up of our downtown area in Marshall, TX, on April 16th (Saturday) sponsored by the Marshall Downtown Assoication. We had about 200 volunteers who went out and cleaned up our original township. EPC of Marshall (church) furnished the hamburgers and trimmings for lunch (donated by Super 1 Foods, Brookshires, & Caddo Packing) and Bandstand Music provided the music during the noon lunch time. It was a tremendous success!

In about three weeks, new benches, trash receptacles, flower boxes, and banners will be installed in the downtown area of Marshall. This is another project of the Marshall Downtown Association to beautify and improve our downtown area. We continue to address the economic and tourist aspects of our wonderful downtown area.
