Volunteers turn out to clean up around the city

About 170 people spent their Saturday morning doing grunt work between Travis, South Grove, Grand Avenue and Alamo Streets and around the old Ginocchio Hotel and Washington Street overpass.
They clipped. They mowed. They swept. They picked up litter and they sweated in the hot sun for Keep Marshall Beautiful Day, an event sponsored by the Marshall Downtown Association. -4/17-
