While the football careers of some Maverick seniors ended at Texas Stadium, defensive end Dedron Smith's football dream hasn't ended yet.
It began with the Marshall High School football team's quest for the state championship, continued when Smith signed a letter of intent after receiving a scholarship offer from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, and will carry on through July 3 when he returns from his trip to Brisbane, Australia to play in the prestigious Down Under Bowl.
