Martha Josey seeking another rodeo finals appearance

Martha Josey sat on her ranch house porch Friday, dressed in a blue western shirt decorated with sequins and suede leather fringes, blue jeans, a black cowboy hat and worn boots. The rodeo garb was appropriate. Ms. Josey, a member of the USA barrel racing team, won a gold medal in the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. She is also a three-time world champion barrel racer who has competed in rodeo national finals in four different decades, from the 60s through the 90s.
