Marshall: Filing for city election comes to close

The Marshall City Commission race has suddenly narrowed to just one challenger. Four incumbents have filed for re-election, Katie Jones, Ed Carlile, Jack Hester and Alonza Williams, but only Williams has an opponent and Monday was the last day to file.
Last week, Tom Allin filed to run against Williams in District Two.
