Letter of intent signed that could get Hotel Marshall reconstruction going

The Marshall Downtown Development Board of Directors approved a letter of intent Monday with C2 Construction Inc. of Dallas, a letter that could signal the beginning of Hotel Marshall's rehabilitation, according to board members.
The letter gives authority for C2 to proceed as the hotel project's construction manager if the company can meet terms in the next few weeks, namely hiring bidders who can bring the project in at $1.515 million or less.
