Caddo Lake Coalition: Group questions 'propaganda' in weekly
UNCERTAIN – Retired Major Gen. Vernon Lewis, his allies and his weekly newspaper, the Lone Star Eagle, are engaged in a "systematic, military-style propaganda operation" designed to turn area landowners against groups attempting to conserve Caddo Lake, a spokesman for the Caddo Lake Coalition said in a Thursday press conference.

"The campaign is now more insidious than before because they are trying to convince you that the Caddo Lake Institute will sue you at the drop of a hat," said spokesman Jack Canson, who is also a Greater Caddo Lake Association board member.
