Jones, Carlile file for re-election to city commission
Marshall city commissioners Katie Jones and Ed Carlile filed for re-election Monday. The election will be held May 7. Monday was the first day city commission candidates could file with the city secretary's office and Jones and Carlile were the only candidates to do so, city spokesmen said. Commissioners Jack Hester and Alonza Williams must also run for re-election or leave the commission. Neither could be reached for comment.
