Downtown area could become home to art college

A group of Marshall businessmen and public servants are attempting to bring a four-year art college to downtown Marshall, according to Mayor Ed Smith. "We are serious about looking at this as a possibility," he said. "We are looking at what role city government would have in implementing an art school, and exploring the concept of how the institution would be developed, housed and financed.
