Marshall City Commissioner Alonza Williams sued for back taxes

The Harrison Central Appraisal District and Harrison County are jointly suing Marshall City Commissioner Alonza Williams, two of his relatives and a friend for failure to pay back taxes on dozens of properties.
Williams owes $52,954 before penalties and interest, according to court documents, and could owe around $100,000 when the penalties and interest are added to the bill.
