Parade a success, despite lack of bands; winners named

Despite the absence of marching bands, the Mar-Tex Lions Club's annual Christmas parade was a great success, said Parade Chairman Harold Raines.
"The sad part of it was that we had no bands," Raines said. "We had four or five of them lined up and not one was able to attend. Of course, Marshall's and Harleton's were involved with the football playoffs."
