Caddo Lake conference looks at issues and possible solutions

JEFFERSON Some of Caddo Lake's problems may be solved in the next few years due to a Caddo Institute-sponsored conference held here Thursday, and to officials from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers who attended.
The corps's presence at the conference means it is willing "to partner with" The Caddo Institute and The Nature Conservancy which co-sponsored the conference to examine the lake's water flow problems and entertain suggestions, said corps representative Rebecca Griffith, chief of the planning branch for the Fort Worth District.
