Wonderland of Lights turned on Wednesday

A large crowd gathered in front of the historic Harrison County Courthouse Wednesday night, despite blustery winds and suddenly cold weather. Sitting and standing, young and old, locals and tourists joined to watch the 18th annual opening ceremony for the Wonderland of Lights.
Though there were some delays and a slight problem with a wobbly board on the stage, holiday cheer was the prevalent emotion at the ceremony.
