JEFFERSON Caddo Lake will be getting some scientific help next week.
U.S. Government scientists, Mexican scientists and officials and others will participate in a two-day conference contributing to environmental flow recommendations for the lake and its tributaries, according to a spokesman for the Caddo Lake Institute, the organizing conference sponsor.
Scientists from the U.S. Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Geological Survey, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Texas A&M University, The Nature Conservancy and the Soto La Marina watershed, from the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, among others, will meet Dec. 2, at the Jefferson Educational Center.
