New photo exhibit offers different view of Marshall

If you think you've learned about all the significant people, places and cultural aspects of Marshall think again. Starting today through January, Marshall Alliance for Independent Artists along with Marshall Visual Art Center presents "Photo Synergy," a photographic collection of people, places and events in Marshall at Brophy's Oyster Square downtown, 107 E. Houston St. from 5 p.m. until midnight. The rare collection is a must see, said Shawne Somerford, owner of Brophy's. "In my opinion, it's not just a bunch of pictures with no meaning. It's very representative of what's going on in Marshall now."
