Future of local Texas Eagle route uncertain

A report issued Monday cast doubts on the future of Amtrak's Texas Eagle route that runs through Marshall and East Texas.
The report by the U.S. Department of Transportation's Inspector General, Kenneth Mead, gives a dismal outlook for the future of the United States' only national passenger train system, Amtrak.
