Helping to spread the word about the availability of jobs in the Longview area is a new resource set to hit the streets Wednesday, according to Julie Wiersig.

As work force development director for Longview Economic Development Corp., Wiersig said the impetus behind the 2007-2008 Longview Career Guide is to inform students and others entering or already in the work force of the variety of jobs - many of which do not require a four-year college degree.
