MNM OUR VIEW: Moving some goals to the front of the line

It was interesting to look at a list of proposed goals that each city commissioner recently said would be good for the city to pursue. Each of them had at least one forward-thinking idea that we hope will come to pass within the future of Marshall, some of them sooner than others. It was gratifying that all of them recognize the worth of improving the city park system. We aren't so sure that sentiment would have been unanimous, say, two years ago. At least it would not have been as energetic. A few of the goals caught our eye as ones we would like to see happen sooner, rather than later, mostly because they involve pure common sense.
