A few weeks ago we mentioned in this spot what a wonderful accomplishment has been wrought by the completion of City Park. The question of whether city residents will use parks to the fullest extent has now been answered beyond any doubt. Of course they will. For years, we were told more parks weren't needed because money would be spent with nothing gained. How wrong those statements were and how gratifying it is to see hundreds of people at City Park on the weekends. In fact, we believe the park is getting far more use than even the most optimistic forecasters expected.
