One day I was following a special needs student around MHS. This is a function the school district pays for. Special Education aides make sure their kid gets to class, to the cafeteria, to the bus.

I was convinced this student was retarded because he acted retarded; for instance, his speech was highly simplified, something you expect from young children.

But we were walking up the stairs to his classroom, after having lunch at the cafeteria, when he suddenly turned to me and said "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, Oh Lord, my rock and my Redeemer."
