Renovations at City Park should be completed within the next two weeks according to Parks and Recreation Director Jack Redmon.

The parks advisory board heard updates at its meeting at City Park, 615 Valleloma St., Monday evening.

The finishing touches at City Park are wrapping up, with the driveways being paved today, weather permitting, and sod being laid Thursday. The flower beds have been planted, the playground equipment is ready and the basketball goals have been installed. Patrons have been enjoying the park, although it isn't quite finished.
