Revelers at this year's AlleyFest may notice the three-day festival is a bit greener than in previous years.

Together with Keep Longview Beautiful, AlleyFest organizers are introducing 30 new recycling bins and a volunteer daytime cleaning crew in an effort to reduce waste.

Elaine Reynolds, Longview Partnership vice president of downtown development, said the partnership was trying to find ways to work with Keep Longview Beautiful. "Hopefully, together we can make a difference," Reynolds said.
