T-Bone Walker Blues Fest at Linden's Music City Texas Theater
The 2nd annual T-Bone Walker Blues Fest is set for June 15 & 16, 2007 at the Music City Texas Theater. Set in the Piney Woods of North East Texas, this two-day, two-stage festival honors the legacy of Linden s native son - the "Daddy of the Blues" - Aaron "T-Bone" Walker. The lineup includes twenty traditional and contemporary blues bands from throughout the United States. These include the Duffy Bishop Band from Portland, Oregon, Diunna Greenleaf from Houston, Texas, Gary Nicholson from Nashville, Tennessee, and Buddy Flett & the Blue Birds from Shreveport, Louisiana.
