Tourism task force goes through suggestions for final approval or change

The Tourism Task Force Steering Committee has less than 10 days to make comments and suggestions on Destination Development's Branding, Development and Marketing Action Plan.
The committee met Tuesday at the Center for Applied Technology to address the 51 recommendations in the 203 page plan and identify the ones that need further discussion, and those that could be accepted without modifications.
Last week the consulting firm presented Marshall's brand, "Marshall Texas Center Stage."
The group wants feedback from the committee by May 18, and is hoping for the plan to be adopted by the Marshall City Commission by June 15.
