Artist, students are an inspiration for one another

A young boy cheered as professional artist Howard Howard walked into his fourth grade classroom with his cart full of art supplies. The excitement is just as mutual for Howard, who is an artist in residence at David Crockett Elementary this week, teaching fourth graders an appreciation of art. "The children...they inspire me," he said. Howard, an artist from Uncertain, has participated in the Arts in Education Program, sponsored by Marshall Regional Arts Council, for about nine years.
