Big Cypress Street Rod Association will hold their annual "Outlaw Nationals Car Show" Friday through Sunday in downtown Jefferson.

Last year thousands of visitors enjoyed the 240 cars on display at the event according to Bob Wolcott, one of the founding members of the Big Cypress Street Rod Association.

This year will feature a different array of automobiles from the strange to the sublime. One is the creation of Jefferson native, Mark Fort. Called a "Rat Rod," this unusual vehicle is comprised of parts from other vintage cars with the body of a 1936 Ford pickup with a custom made bed.
