This spring the Jessie Allen Wise Garden Club presents its "60th Annual Pilgrimage Tour of Homes & Spring Festival" on May 4, 5, & 6, 2007. Titled "Southern Grace and Hospitality", this very Southern and genteel affair features four of Jefferson's oldest and most beautiful homes. Festooned with fresh flowers and period furnishings each home is reminiscent of an era of long ago yet not forgotten. The renowned "Diamond Bessie Murder Trial" holds this years performances in the Ruth Lester Memorial Playhouse on May 2-6. Tickets may be purchased by calling (903) 665-6075.
