Hello to all of my new friends in Marshall, Texas. My name is Paige Turner and I have been hired, I use this word loosely as "hired" generally indicates receiving some type of payment, as your new Washington Bureau Chief. I live in Washington DC and read your website and occassionally the Messenger newspaper and will attempt to give my perspective on various Marshall topics using lots of snappy humor and words printed in capital letter to keep you from falling asleep as "I" usually do when reading your website and Messenger newspaper. I will also put lots of quotation marks around random words as decoration. A little bit about my background --- Prior to this position, I have had several jobs throughout my career. Drug Kingpin, televangelist, gargoyle cleaner, vigilante and Pip (my sole purpose being to stand behind Gladys Knight and go whooo whooo at certain parts of "midnight train to Georgia". So, as you can see by my resume, I bring a great deal of diversity to this job. I hope to "STARTLE" you with new insight from an "outsiders" perspective. Stay tuned in the weeks and months ahead.
